I will be going grocery shopping this evening with my friend Tiffanie, the plan so far is to hit two stores, my savings after coupons should be about 44%. I am still learning the ropes, I would like to eventually save at least 70% on every trip! The good deals I am getting this time around are 18 boxes of rice-a-roni/pasta-roni for about .15 cents each (reg 1.49), 6 cans of chef-boy-r-dee for about .50 cents a can (reg 1.19 ea), 2 jumbo packs of huggies for 6.99 each (reg 10.49 each), 10 dannon yogurt cups for .30 cents each (reg about .80). Those are the biggest deals, most everything is at least 50% off with coupons, or we just needed it anyway. I plan to spend no more than 57 dollars, total before coupons is 103! I love shopping this way!!
The budgeting has been great, have been sticking to it and following the rules! Whoooo!!
